Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after purchasing your item to request a return. Please promptly inspect your shipment upon receipt. Exchanges, and/or replacements will not be accepted outside of this 30-day policy.Â
Cancelations are accepted within 2 hours of order placement.Â
Our 2 hour cancellation policy is in effect to allow our team to process orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. Â
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unopened and unused, with original tags/packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To request a return, please visit your account portal. or submit a return request through your closetrod.com account.  Once your return is submitted, please allow up to 15 business days for review. When your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be refunded.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item(s).
Items with damage or imperfections will be exchanged for the exact item purchased at no additional charge. If a return is requested instead of an exchange, shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Parcels must be inspected upon delivery and any damage/missing items must be reported within 7-days of confirmed delivery.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Custom/Cut-to-length items
- 92" Closet Rods
- 95"/96" Closet Rods
- Samples
- Special request items
- Custom Fabrications
- Shipping charges
- Sale/clearance items
- Gift cards
- Expedited service charges
Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee.
Refunds
Once your items have been received in our warehouse, they will go through an inspection process to evaluate any damage and the condition of both packaging and merchandise. Once the inspection process is complete and iff approved, you will be automatically refunded in your original payment method minus shipping charges, restocking fee, plus discounts that may have been applied during the original transaction. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Returns that receive special considerations will be refunded as store credit minus restocking fees, and return shipping.Â
Return Shipping
Return shipping is charged for every return. For most orders, we will provide a return shipping label. However, in some circumstances where this may not be possible, we will provide the return shipping address and accepted shipping methods.Â
